2019 Goal Setting

Hey babes! Happy third day of 2019! I know this post is a bit delayed, but that’s just because I’ve been busy working on very exciting new changes. I can’t wait to share them with you all, but for now, I’m sharing my New Years goal with you.

Grow the Blog

While this is quite the obvious one, I still felt it important to include it. Obviously, I can’t grow my blog overnight. I’ve been working incredibly hard on creating content, growing my social platforms (including Pinterest and Twitter) and continuing my painful journey with Instagram. By the end of 2019, I’d love to be consistently posting at least 1 blog post/week, if not two or more. I’m also hoping to work with some kickass brands and grow my Pinterest platform — specifically to 100,000 monthly views. In all honesty, I just want to continue sharing my inspiration and life with you all.

Read 52 Books

You’re probably thinking “Oh my goodness, she’s nuts.” And, you’re probably right. I want to try and read one book/week with the intention of gaining new knowledge, having a few laughs (though, probably more crying) and to better my writing.

I absolutely love reading, as it’s one of my favorite pass-times. But, with university classes and the three demanding jobs I have, I just haven’t had the time to read while in school. With graduation in five short months, I’ll finally be able to catch up on the stacks of books in my apartment.

Another seemingly obvious goal, but I’d really like to travel more. In 2018, I went on less than five major trips, which is fine but I’d really like to see at least 10 major trips this year. I already have one in mind for mid-February, so I’m happy to see this goal already coming to life!

A few places I’m hoping to go to include: Winnipeg, Myrtle Beach, California, North Carolina, Nashville, and so many places in Europe!

Find My Inner Self

While 2018 was a year of learning and growing, I don’t feel like I found myself. Sure, I started my blog and Instagram, as well as completed my first (and second) internship… But, I’m still missing that feeling of self. Does that make sense?

In 2019, I’m hoping to use a bit of holistic healing to truly find out who I am. For those of you who are like, “What the heck is she talking about?” I’ll tell you. Holistic healing includes the whole person — mind, body, spirit and emotions — in the journey of wellness. I’m hoping to use yoga, meditation, guided crystal healing and more on my wellness journey.

Continue to Learn & Grow

2019 is all about me. That’s right, I said it. I want this year to be my year of growth and happiness amongst learning and growing. Though I may be graduating from university, that doesn’t mean the end of my academic career. I plan to continuously attend writers workshops and classes, amongst other classes. I hope to grow my knowledge as well as myself. This year is all about self-growth.
